We are entering a new season. We are moving from managing an extensive transition and building project to focusing our energy fully on our vision: creating environments where people encounter God.

The story of Esther in the Bible reminds us that God chooses the times and places in which we live, work and serve. He has a plan, and each of us has a part to play. The question Esther was asked came both as an encouragement and a challenge: “Who knows but that you have come to this moment for such a time as this?”

As a church, we too find ourselves in a moment of opportunity — and with opportunity comes responsibility. Let's give ourselves 100% to seeking and serving the Lord. Here is what that looks like this Fall — and the three things we are asking of you.

Three Key Things You Can Do

1. Join us for Belonging — launching this September
   A reset and fresh launch of what it means to be part of Jesus Revolution Church. There is a place for you here.

2. Get into a Circle
   Community is often found in circles, not rows. Several new Circles are beginning. If you aren't in one, now is the time.

3. Prayerfully review your giving
   Our operating budget is now carrying the real cost of owning a building, and regular giving has decreased. Details below — please read for more details.
   

What's Ahead: September – December 2026

Seek First Worship & Prayer Night, Friday 9/25, 7pm

Jesus said: “Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Join us for our quarterly Seek First Worship & Prayer Nights, where we will put aside the activity and simply seek the presence of God together. The next night will be Friday, September 25th, 7pm, in the sanctuary.

Belonging Series

Deep within each of us is a longing to be known, accepted and loved — to feel at home. We believe that home is found in God and in His people. This September, we are launching Belonging — a reset and fresh launch of what it means to be part of Jesus Revolution Church.

Circles

Community is often found in circles, not rows. If you aren't currently part of a Circle, now is the time to change that. Several new Circles are beginning, and there is a place for you.

Strengthening Community

We want to be a church that genuinely enjoys being together. We will create opportunities to gather, celebrate, eat, laugh, listen to music and simply enjoy one another. Community isn't an extra — it is part of what it means to be the Church.

Living Sent

Jesus asked all His followers to go into the world and make disciples. That means intentionally sharing Jesus and inviting people to discover what it means to follow Him. In partnership with Glimpse, we will be using the training resource A Story Bigger Than Ourselves — seven simple ideas to help ordinary people share the love of God. Who knows who God may reach through you?

Alpha - Beginning Tuesday 10/6

Alpha is a series of interactive sessions exploring some of life's biggest questions. Please pray about who you could invite. The series begins Tuesday, October 6th and will run for six weeks. Each week will include dinner and conversation. Look for registration details soon.

Finances

First, the good news: by God's grace, we have purchased and renovated a wonderful facility — and we have done so without debt. Thank you for your incredible generosity in making this possible.At the same time:

• Our operating budget is now showing the financial weight that comes with owning and operating a property.

• We are experiencing a decrease in regular giving, likely in part because some of what would normally have been given through tithes and offerings was instead generously directed toward the building project.

What we're asking: Please prayerfully review your giving. Perhaps your income has increased over the past year. Perhaps your financial circumstances have changed, or you have resources available that weren't previously available. Please prayerfully consider increasing the seeds you are sowing into the life and mission of Jesus Revolution Church. As we continue to move forward together, we encourage everyone to take a moment to review their giving.

Thank you to everyone who has given, served, and prayed through this journey. As we move through the remaining phases, we are prayerfully considering how best to complete the outstanding tasks — all while recognizing an important truth:

The building exists to serve the mission. The mission does not exist to serve the building.

The Jesus Revolution Church Leadership Board
